Ghee or not to Ghee….

What the heck is Ghee anyways?
Ghee, or commonly referred to as clarified butter, is a dietary source of fat traditionally used in Indian cooking you can find it in specialty stores like whole foods and some grocery stores.
How is Ghee Made?
Ghee is made by heating butter slowly until all the water cooks off and the proteins coagulate in the bottom of the pan. The ghee is poured off and strained, solidifying once it has cooled. Ghee is cooked longer than traditional clarified butter which gives it a nutty taste.

Why use Ghee?
Ghee has a higher smoke point than normal butter, olive oil and coconut oil, making it an excellent choice for sautéing foods, It doesn’t taste as good to eat a lone but it has an amazing nutty taste and when add it to your veggies or other foods.
Ghee will last a long time outside of the refrigerator and when stored in air tight container it can last up to 3 months and when kept in a refrigerator, without opening, ghee can last up to a year.

Thank you for your interest in my up coming group "Christine's Summer Shred"this group starts May 22nd!  Want to slow down Father Time?  Join me for 5 weeks of strength building fitness.  Take control now, before it gets any later. We all know that when a person reaches 40 or above exercise becomes even more important for a healthy body and a healthy mind. Over 78% of men & women over 40 exercise inadequately or not at all.

As we get older> we start to lose muscle > we experience a reduction in bone density - leaving us with weaker bones > our metabolism slows down, resulting in weight gain as we start to store fat more easily > inactive people lose about 15% of their muscle mass each decade after 50 and 30% each decade after 70.

Regardless what you choose to do in life be consistent. The path and journey you choose has to be one that ignites passion.

When I started my coaching business I never imagined I would be where I am today. I never imagined I would be helping people change their lives and helping them reach their goals in fitness. I have taken on a new challenge and now i want to help women find a way to live a better life.

Maybe you are looking for an opportunity and you want to stop living pay check to paycheck or you want to give your family a better life, vacation, college or retirement. When I started out I just wanted to make some extra cash and be able to work outside the home part time so I could be there for my kids when they got home from school but still bring in some income. Now that I have new goals, I want to help others do the same and regardless how much you want to make or add to your pocket. I know it is possible. You can work this coaching business 1 hour a day or on weekends.
